Use REGEDT32 to edit the remote registry.
1. On the Registry menu, click Select Computer.
2. Enter the ComputerName of the remote client or double-click it in the browse list.
3. Edit HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetServicesDHCP.
4. In the right-hand pane, double-click Start and change the data value to 2, which is Automatic.
5. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindows NTCurrentVersionNetworkCards1
and write down the data value of ServiceName.
6. Edit SYSTEMCurrentControlSetServices”
7. In the right hand pane, double click on:
EnableDHCP – change to 1
IPAddress – change to 0.0.0.0
SubnetMask – change to 0.0.0.0
